Just a quick post today. I've been really behind on blog posting and commenting since I got a cold. Though I'm super excited for Fall weather, the
transition period between seasons is rough on my immune system. I almost ALWAYS get sick during these times. Today will be spent at home, drowning myself in hot tea and snuggling with a few good books. Classical music or the LOTR score playing in the background will help me relax even more.
The short dress, tights, and scarf combo is my trusted
cold-weather uniform. Depending on how blustery or chilly it gets, I choose the thickness of my dresses, scarves, or tights. Then, I layer as needed. Today called for a thin scarf and tights. Since I haven't worn this polka dotted pair, I thought today would be as good as any day to don them. They make my legs look anemic, but I can't resist those dots!

Awww so sorry to hear you've been under the weather as well. I am just recovering from a sinus infection. I hope you feel better soon and those patterened tights are fierce :)

The tights are totally cute. I actually just bought a pair in the same color with hearts on them. I don't think they're going to fit me because their M/L stops waaaaay under my weight, but I needed to get them to try.

ReplyDeleteSo far my cold weather uniform is...anything I want, and then I throw on this jean jacket I bought in a thrift store recently, a coloured scarf and some sunglasses if the solar one is out and about. (And sometimes even if it isn't the shades come on anyway, because I'm a light sensitive psycho.)
I <3 Parisian scarfs....I have some of my own when I visited and I <3 them so!

Oh, I do hope you're feeling better! I always get sick when the seasons change and am currently having a bout with the sniffles. And I love me some musical scores. My favorites are from Tuck Everlasting and the 1995 version of Sense and Sensibility. They're so beautiful (and yes, completely relaxing).

Those tights make the entire outfit...so cute! also with the sandals, I'm going to try and wear mine with tights too. That way you get more wear in cooler months.
