leopard print hair bow: my shop!

Not the most thrilling of outfits, but I've been so busy and exhausted lately, that I barely have time to take photos, much less put actual outfits together. On days like this, I just pull whatever is comfortable and easy to style and add one item that pops out.

Grey + Black doesn't take a genius to put together, but it'd be a boring outfit without this leopard print hair bow that I am obsessed with. I made this particular bow as a test when Tracy and Courtney gave me the idea of using leopard print. Thanks, ladies, I have not taken this bow out of my head for 3, no 4, no 5 days straight

The winner of my Too Faced and Hello Kitty Giveaway is: Kat from Katslovefashion!

Thanks to everyone who joined in! Stay tuned for my next giveaway!

ps. I now do custom orders for scarves and bows! email me for details and visit my shop to see what fabric I have!

pps. Yes, I started using Disqus.

  12. Comfy cute outfits are the best. They're practical and they're something everyone can relate to. I love the bow. It truly does pop. Great idea to sell it in your shop. And I'm always loving a good cowl neckline.

  17. Hey, I like understated outfits!  I'm not a person to go balls to the walls with outfits all the time, so this is purrrrrrfect for me. (Purr.  Animal print.  Get it?  Lame.)

  21. Ok we'll see how long this disqus lasts...I nixed it a few months ago.  I had too many trapped/marked as spam comments!  Love the dress work as the skirt, it has a bit of a tutu feel ;)

  22. Is the bow easy to tie to your hair? With a lot of these things, I have difficulties in making them stay. Would you recommend that or the alligator clip?

  23. Adorable, I LOVE that bow!  I really like your dress/skirt, love the ruffles on the bottom =)

  31. Aki, I attached this particular bow to a hair elastic, so it stays! My alligator clip bows are more for when I wear them on the side or when I want to pin them on my cardigan!

  32. Bessie, I know what you mean-- I've gotten 3 or 4 already and this is only the first day.... We'll see how this works out. I like to get to reply to readers though.

  35. Hahahahah I was just wondering if you started using Disqus the other day, or if it was there all along! I've totally fallen in love with Leopard print! I've even been thinking of having a bow tie made for my fiance to use on our wedding day, but maybe that's too much for a guy to wear huh? :D I wouldn't stop using that bow either!!! Will it be in the shop?? :D :D :D

  39. Tossing a sweater or tee over a comfy jersey knit dress has become one of my favorite things to do.  It's my way of being lazy without looking the part. ;)  BTW - Are you ever in Chicago?? Would love to rendezvous one day.

  40. I am becoming obsessed with your little bows!! I love them! You look adorable, by the way.

  41. You have such a cute etsy shop! I just bought a ton of bows from J Crew's kids section so I will be entertained with those for a few months but I've bookmarked your store! Super cute!! Awesome talent.

  42. I was wondering if you still get comment notifications with disqus though - i'm useless at tracking down comments from people without my notifications!

  43. I tried Disqus before, but that didn't work out-- we'll see how I like it now. So far, so good! I think a bowtie is cute-- but I think for men, it would be a different shape and size. Plus, if it's in a wedding, it'd be much safer to buy a proper bowtie. Oh I wish I knew how to make those! hahaha. The leopard bow is already available in the shop, actually! I've had to custom make 3 already just this past week!

  44. hahahaha, Addie! will keep a tutorial in mind-- though it's so simple, I dunno if it warrants a tutorial!

  53. Your sweater looks so cozy. I love a good cowl neck. I wish I could get my hair to do a top knot. It's far too fine and slippery to hold much of anything. The bow is such a nice addition to yours :)

  56. Definitely Lord of The RIngs! I tried to read that thick book the first time I came to US, but at that time my English was not good enough so I put it down. Two years later I picked it up again and reading was easy so I guess I learned enough English during my first two years in the US, hahaha!
