Outfit # 61 of my 6-Month Challenge

Yes. I'm wearing this skirt twice this week. I may have worn it multiple other times and just didn't tell you. I just can't help it. I'm obsessed with the color. And I was determined to make it work with this cardigan. I mean, they're almost in the same color family, right?

When I first looked in the mirror, I thought the combination looked pretty ok. Then when I looked at these photos, I'm not quite sure I'm sane in the brain. But! I'm posting it anyway, because I still secretly think that it totally works. Is is really that bizarre-looking? Am I crazy

What unusual color combinations do you think work well?

  4. You are "A" OK. I love seeing this skirt on you. I had a friend once who made a similiar one out of her old curtains. You guys are just too talented for me. I love your bow necklace my dear, it's so cute. Both you and my niece are obsessed with bows! Great color combo by the way - I am really into meshing different colors these days. Pretty as always ;) Happy Thursday!

  37. I don't see anything bizarre in these pictures except maybe the tree behind - like it has one leaf missing or something?? HA...you look sweet babes, I like the green and blue accents, very cute! The bow makes it even more adorable. You are a bow expert now. I realized how hard it is to make it look balance, takes skill, like yours!

  42. You're not insane in the brain. Well, wait. If Picasso was insane, then so are you but either way you're in great company. I own a scarf (my most favouritest (it's so great it's a great excuse for bad English) scarf ever!)that reminds me of some of his work during his blue period. This outfit not only works but it also has so many possibilities. You could try shuffling around or adding some other colors. My scarf has a pale blue in it, a dark teal color, and a pale yellow. I think the skirt could act as the yellow in this case. You're rocking it! Have fun with it. I'd wear that skirt several times a week myself if I had one. ;)

I don't know how unusual it is, but I like pink and orange together. I have some pink corduroys that I like to wear with either orange flats or an orange cardigan.
