Dear Reader,

Hi! How are you doing? I've been meaning to tell you about the stuff that's been occupying my brain space for a long time now.

This year has been a roller coaster ride for me. I've had lots of ups and downs, but I realize that both have made me the person I am today. So yes, I am thankful for both. I am also thankful for the great support and understanding my husband has shown me over the past, few, difficult months. I am quite cantankerous to begin with, so you can only imagine how hard it is to LIVE with me.

I'm thankful for pie. I'm thankful for tea. I'm also thankful for gingerbread lattes. I am happy this world has Hello Kitty, and the concept of silliness, and books. Without any of these, I would be incomplete. Did I mention I'm also thankful for comics? because I totally owe my geeky awesomeness to the pages of wisdom I devour on a weekly basis.

Lastly, my dear reader, I am thankful that you stopped by to check out on my latest shenanigans or just to say hi. I am truly grateful for your comments and your support. I am cheesy when I want to be, and right now, I am a triple grilled cheese sandwich with rounds of thick brie in place of bread. That's how cheesy and delicious I am right now. So yeah, thank you, from the bottom of my creamy heart.

Your ridiculous friend,
Laura

  8. Have fun during your break. I love your boots and sweater. At first glance, I thought it was Kermit's eyes not the cute teddy bears, but maybe that's just because I have Muppets on the brain. Shoot, that could be their next movie title. Happy Thanksgiving.

  32. I am always thankful for tea. Yes yes yes. And I say this while sipping my morning coffee ;)

I'm also thankful for this great blogging community and the wonderful people I've met through it! You included, of course! Happy Thanksgiving, Laura!

P.S. I love the layering you've been sporting lately. Your plaid shirt looks awesome underneath this simple, yet pretty black dress. Also, I think I forgot to mention how much I liked your black turtleneck layered under your short-sleeve blue cardigan that you wore with your green paper bag skirt. Loved that. The second to last sentence kinda makes my brain hurt, but I couldn't think of another way to word it (brain power is still low this morning, hehe).
