Four Words: It snowed last night. And just like that, it feels like January again. So of course, my cold is back and so is my curmudgeonliness. I had to take these photos indoors, so please excuse the crappy, lighting available to me in the early morning.
On the bright side, I lurve my thrifted Kenneth Cole Reaction heels! I wear a 7.5 normally, which is apparently what size these babies are, but they wear super huge! Do you have any tips on how to make too-large shoes fit? Or shall I just stuff the tips with cotton?
Did you get much snow? We only wound up with a dusting (enough to need to clean my car, but not enough to shovel) It made me sad because I wanted to wear cute shoes today, but my feel were waaaay too cold.
Honestly I haven't found a great way to deal with the shoe gap yet aside from putting something into the toes. I'll have to keep an eye in case anyone has a good suggestion!

I have little feet and am constantly trying to get bigger shoes to work for me. There are those little gel things they make to put in the inside heel of the shoe to keep it from slipping, those usually help me.
Ah snow one of the reasons I moved to California! ;) Your a brave one wearing heels in the snow tho I could never get away with that. I usually try those padded Dr Scholls (I think that's how you spell it..) insole things or viva paper towel + cotton to make shoes fit... The second method is a little crazy but it works! haha -Ash
I don't like snow, either :P At least you look super cute! As for the shoes, yeah - I think they make inserts and padded insoles. The petite fashion bloggers usually come up with lots of creative ways to wear bigger shoes! Like Extra Petite.
I always buy these super neat (cheap) heel grips from Payless...they are sorta a cross between gel/fabric and stick along the back inside of the heel. Adds some cushion and also some stick, so it helps the shoes fit better :) These heels are great, so find a way to wear!!!
Laura you look so pretty and not sick at all ( I hope yo feel better soon though!!) I love those shoes. I have some shoes that are huge on me too, but I buy those thick shoe insoles at Target and they really help (and there comfy too!!) Good Luck!!

In the shoe section of Target you can find little packs of silicone-ish heel wraps that you can affix to the inside back of the shoes. Maybe that will help?
I really love your thrifted shoes! They are amazingly gorgeous. That cardigan is really cool too. Ugh I hate snow, cold and gray skies. But I can't complain, it's been beautiful here this year!
Stuff them with that green foam they use for flower arrangements. It will push down and your toes with push into...but it will be comfortable and let you have a good fit. Cute outfit!
Get party feet (gel inserts under the balls of your feet) to stop your feet sliding forward. Then heel grips (preferrably suede) against your heel to hold this in.
I use both on my heels my sis got me from Italy and they work a charm.
love those heels on you they are so adorable and i can't believe they were thrifted too!! they have a really cool retro vibe i love it! i use dr. scholls her expression foot pads... they're really thin and they fit well inside of high heels :)!

I think the snow is avoiding MI, but it is cold. As for the shoes try inlays they normally help.
