Love this look! I have some pointy toed shoes too that I forgot all about, lol:) Your fur scarf is fabulous! Heather
ReplyDeleteThe white accents look really good with the blue sweater.
ReplyDeleteWow I can't believe you kept those shoes for so long! Shows you that one day you really will find a use for things.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfit, I really love the blue sweater :) And the faux fur scarf is super cute :) xoxo ♥
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you have shoes from 10 years ago! Also, I love the combo of purple and white here - and the touch of fur is super cute!

Oooh this is cute. I love your little fluffy scarf. I am impressed by your ability to keep shoes for 10 years! Most of mine barely last a year!
ReplyDeletei love this!! and i'm totally a hoarder.. but pointy shoes are in so you were totally in the right to lug it from alaska to illi! i give you mad props for doing so though.. i can't believe i never knew you were from alaska! that is cray cray!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, now I just want to pet your scarf ;) I for one will admit that I am a hoarder. I still have things that I own since HS but don't want to part with them. Pretty sure it doesn't fit anymore but I like to save them just in case Charlotte will want them one day!
ReplyDeleteLoves it! You look very sophisticated like you're about to go to lunch with a bunch of snooty women, lol. You would be the non-snooty fun one of course.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to think if I still have stuff from high school that I wear. Really all that comes to mind are some sneakers, though, and those are boooooring
I love pointy-toed shoes. They are my favorite because they look so friggin' awesome peeking out from pants.

I'm the same way I buy and save things because one day I know I'll wear them! lol It's the worst with shoes tho because it seems I just keep buying new ones and keeping every last old one it's becoming quite hoarder ish.. lol

I really like the simplicity of this outfit. You look so pretty! Love your lip color too.
ReplyDeleteI am a hoarder too! *Hi5*

Um... I still have a shirt that I've had since 5th grade. 1995! I don't even remember the last time it saw the light of day.
ReplyDeleteYou look ready to take on the rest of winter in this outfit. Love that cardi and how you belted it.
Great outfit Laura and I love your pointy shoes. I've stashed things away before in the hopes of them sparking a fashion interest. HaHa You just never know.

Whenever I used to wear any shade of purple at this job I used to have, one of the guys would say, "It's the lovely lavender lady!" So, whenever I see purple, that's what I think. lol And you are looking quite lovely, indeed. =)
ReplyDeleteYour pointy toe shoes are amazing. I love your cardigan. It is an adorable color.
ReplyDeleteHey babe, you are not alone in this! haha, I have stuffs in the deep corners of my wardrobes which I have never wore and I'm still hoping for the day that I have some inspiration on how to wear them! But I must say 10 years is an incredible feat babe!
ReplyDeleteBut hey great that u got them, you look amazing with the faux fur scarf and shoes!

Hahaha that's hilarious! I donate everything if I haven't worn it in awhile, except shoes-I tend to keep them as well. Those pointy shoes are really great!
ReplyDeleteI love you in purple and in white! You'e lucky, white always seems to wash me out. I think pointed toe flats are awesome so I'm glad you hung onto them for so long.
ReplyDeletehaha i feel the same way! why thrift when you can just look in your own stockpile :)
ReplyDeletelol I have far too many things stored aside just waiting to be worn too lol. Cant believe you've had those shoes for 10 years! Thats pretty amazing and they still look all sorts of lovely ^^

As long as they're still in good shape, there's nothing wrong with holding on to clothes.
ReplyDeleteWow Laura! Those shoes still look good as new!! I love the fur scarf too!! You look darling!!
ReplyDelete10 years is a long time before busting them out of their box! hehe :) They look great though!
ReplyDeleteYou are not alone Laura. I've kept a lot of things around for years upon uears before wearing them. I think you look fantastic in this outfit and that white fur stole looks fab on u!
ReplyDelete10 years ago- I might be able to find a few pieces from that long ago! Good thing you held on to the shoes and scarf because they are so adorable- you look like an ice queen!

ReplyDeleteyeah, I do the whole purchase for some time in future. I have plenty of shoes I have worn once (don't tell my fiance).

The thing is that if you got rid of them you wouldn't have them when you needed them. And if you're anything like me you'd keep thinking about them and then end up purchasing something similar to the thing you had but got rid of... You know?
ReplyDeletetotally loving your cardi!!
ReplyDeletesuch a delightful outfit! I love the colors, so refreshing! And the fur scarf is gorgeous!

I am so impressed! My moving around finally knocked my hoarder tendencies out of me (so sad, I miss my piles of stuff) -- I think out of laziness (Oh, I have to pack that again?!). I'm so glad you kept all your lovely pieces though cuz what a gorgeous outfit! And I lurve that ponytail you got going on. Seriously (because you aren't busy enough ;), you should start a youtube beauty guru site, Laura!

hehe couldn't agree more, sometimes we should keep some of the items we don't like cause we make rethink it and find fab ways to style them in a few months, after all we change as people and so do our styles
