The Travelling Mind

I felt a little odd walking around in this outfit. I amassed a multitude of stares and hushed whispers about my choice of color to wear on an extremely chilly and grey day. I've been mentally jetting into spring, which probably explains my hasty purchase of this seafoam green dress. That or because I've been re-watching all the Batman movies lately and have a burning desire to emulate Kim Basinger's Vicki Vale

Is it too early to wear spring colors?

  1. I think this is such a refreshing hit of color - which can be so perfect in the grey of winter...and it sounds like it was noticed! I seriously think it looks great.

  2. Laura, I love, love this color on you! You see, this is what spring is meant to look like and not a blob of black as I'm prone to use! You are such an inspiration to me! Thank you! :)

  3. No. It's not too early. I think it helps to pair it with some of the more predictable darker colors for this time of year. I think these colors help lift our spirits. I just looked at the forecast and 10 days straight of grey and wet are predicted. i've already had 2 of those straight. Colors like this make it more bearable. Maybe they're stares of envy and whispers of happiness?? :D
