ugh, I know the feeling. I am not a fan of pants either, unless they fit really, really well. I can handle a great pair of bright tights though! Yours are awesome.

This is a ditto for me...word for word...I never feel great about myself in pants, I hate the way they stretch/slip/snug, and just generally feel so free and comfy and adorable in skirts/dresses. This dress is one of my favs you've worn on the blog...esp with those gorgeously bright purple tights!

Haha, I don't think it's TMI.. I'm one of those people who tends to switch into pajama/sweat pants when I get home. I never wear them out of the house, but it's like my whole body does a sigh of relaxation when I switch into "home" clothes.

ReplyDeleteSecond, the first thing I do when I get home is take off my pants. Usually I put on a skirt or something. But usually I just spend the evening PANT-LESS ;)
GREAT dress, and I love it paired with the purple tights and those adorable brown heels. I also hate pants, I do not think they do my short legs any favors. I wear skirts/dresses pretty much every single workday. You're better than me, when I get home from work I put on PJs or sweats.

ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with not liking pants. Plenty of my friends run around without pants (and without a skirt either) when I'm over their house. I personally prefer to be wearing -something-, but not jeans or trousers for sure.
ReplyDeleteI think we're secretly sisters or something. I've been living in a long skirt for about 3 days now. Seriously. Be warned. It starts with a dislike of trousers/pants and spreads. I am now bothered by long sleeves. I'm becoming a fashion slob. I have to live vicariously by looking at pretty OOTD posts like yours. First its long skirts, long dresses, then loose sleeves (if they're long) then the whole outfit has to be loose. Tight things just start me on a whole anxiety kick. And I don't have any pills for something like that. that means I'm a mess. And no one wants to see that.

i go thru phases of really loving dresses/skirts, then pants, they skirts. doesn't really matter what i wear to work, though, i'm always HAPPY to get out of it at the end of the day! this is a really pretty combination. love the brighter shade of tights with the muted shades in the dress.

ReplyDeleteThis outfit is so soft and pretty! I love the dress. I have a love/hate relationship with pants. I like how they look on other people, but even my favorite jeans don't fit me properly. Every time I move I have to pull them up. And I can't go smaller because then I can't breathe and I'm still pulling them up. Can't win!
