While in the shower, I noticed that it was taking quite a while to squeeze out the water from my hair. I ran my fingers down the length of my tresses and noticed that I only had about 3 inches left before the tip reached my waist. Then I had an epiphany:
Holy crap. I am soooo close to looking like Catra.
Then reality hit and I remembered that I am extremely short-waisted and nowhere as thin as the villainess. Plus how the heck am I supposed to wear glasses with that headband?
I was Catra for Halloween about 8 years ago and no one had any clue who I was so I love you for mentioning that. And how the hell does your hair grow that long??? Seriously mine just refuses to grow longer than shoulder length...it's why short hair and I were made for each other.
I LOVE CATRA. I tried making a Catra costume a few years back but failed miserably. MISERABLY. On the hair issue, I heard that each person has a "hair limit" or something. Basically, your hair grows to a certain length before it just stops growing or starts falling off. Or something like that.
I love the green striped sweater! Your hair looks lovely :) Mine seems to get to a certain length and I have to get it cut even when I'm trying to grow it longer!
I agree, I love your long hair! I'm trying to decide whether to grown mine back out or chop it all off. Loving your green striped sweater and those fantastic boots, such a fun look :)
My hair actually is like where hers is (in the small of my back) That's where the similarities end, though. Totally wish I had a long torso AND long legs.
I have sadly accepted that mid-length hair and I have to be friends for life. I can only dream of rocking hair as fab as yours and Catra's. Btw, I toooootally think you could work the glasses with that headband...just modify the headband with your master like DIY skills. You already pull off looking fierce on a regular daily basis (and this outfit is no exception) - the headband is just the icing on the cake. ;)
Haha so cute and I will admit to having never heard of Catra (she's a cute superhero though!) I love your green top and I'm trying to grow out my hair as well but I'm so impatient- it's taking forever!
Eee! Hello! Thanks for following. You have really gorgeous hair. (Btw you should totally link up for stripes week! Your striped sweater is awesome. Anyone can join, just use the linkie.
LOL what an epiphany. i love your hair though!! mine is ridiculously long and im pretty sure it'll strangle me in my sleep one night lol but i love having long hair XD
Catra! Yes! Any He-Man/She-Ra reference sets my nerdy heart aglow. Please tell me you own the DVDs. A friend and I had a She-Ra marathon late one night about a month ago. It was awesome.
I have yet to find a nice green striped top, be it shirt or sweater. Yours is darn near perfect, if I do say so :)
I think you look adorable! Your hair is simply gorgeous--so shiny and dark! I love, love this jumper! Just perfect for a day of just about anything! :)
