After a quick assessment of the rainbow-ness of my wardrobe, I realized that my rainbow meter is VERY LOW. What, Laura, in your insanity, do you mean by 'rainbowness?' Rainbow-ness is the variety of color in one's closet. Since I now TRY my hardest to keep my clothes is colorifical order, a quick glance at it tells me that I need to add brighter hues or else I'll be "forever grey", which is like being "forever alone" but in grey scale.

That sheer cardi is fantastic! And I love the tiny pop of colour in your belt :)

I really like the print on your cardigan :) The turquoise belt looks great with your outfit!

love the layering and that pop of colour there. You look so chic in that hat!
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that this makes me to do everything in grey scale from this point onward? Seriously, I love it!

I love this outfit! I used to try to keep my closet in colorifical order, but then I got lazy (and after that I moved home and have no closet - boo!) It really does help you realize when you are lacking in a certain color, though. If I had to pick one, I would say I don't have many blues.
ReplyDeleteThat grey cardigan is so cool. I love this monochromatic outfit!
ReplyDeleteCute belt! Lovely cardigan print too!

ReplyDeleteI have noticed that you have a lot of dark colored clothing... but you look good in it! No harm in bringing a little spring to the wardrobe though!
ReplyDeleteI'm like you Laura. My closet needs more color!! But you do look awesome in grey and black too!! I just always feel that you can never get sick of black and grey....such cool colors to work with!! You look so cute today too!! I'm loving the hat!!
ReplyDeleteLook - I like ...no, LOVE your outfits. Someone's gotta spread the love around with the black/grey colors. I know you'll rock colors just as well because you're too talented not to but never fear about what you have. Everything I've seen of your OOTD posts are beautiful! And I am looooving the sheer cardi.
ReplyDeleteI do like a bit of grey - i've noticed its a colour that swamps my nail varnish collection. But I agree, colour is good yet my wardrobe lacks lots of it!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love the classic colors like black, gray, and white... sometimes no color is ok :)
ReplyDeleteI have a lot of gray in my closet too.
ReplyDeleteI like the pop of color from your belt! It's cute!
Cute outfit! Love how you added color with the belt. Hahaha, I have the opposite problem you know? I have too much color in my closet. In fact, I think I own maybe one or two grey tops and that's it. Lol.

I like the hat and also the belt you added! Sometimes it's nice to just wear neutrals...I'd live in them if I could!
ReplyDeleteWell, I think you look fantastic in grey!
ReplyDeleteA lot of my wardrobe consists of black and grey things, so I definitely know what you mean though.
I think this outfit is gorgeous. And your hair is always so beautiful. argh. I wish I had your hair.
ReplyDeleteYou made me laugh about your rainbowness.
xo,
Tracy
Your hair is AMAZING. I have a lot of darks too-need to add some rainbowness myself!
ReplyDeletemasculine colors, but feminine in style. love the sheer flowiness of the cardi. i felt like this last year, that i needed more colors, and while i did add color, they seem to be all the same....pinks! must expand my spectrum!

I still love that Laura Ashley bag of yours! I'm a bit in the forever gray scale right now too but I'm trying well sort of... I should try harder I admit.

Ha Ha your so funny! I know what you mean though as someone who sticks to darker colors...trying myself to break out of the darkness haha
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute. I love this outfit, and your beautiful hair flowing in the wind.
ReplyDeleteThe rainbow-ness may be low for this outfit, but it is still definitely cute. I'm just breaking out of my forever gray and black and brown ...and getting into other "colors"..so I know what you mean :)

By the looks of my closet, one might think I'm rainbow brite...hehe...so I could definitely use more grey in my world...sounds weird right, but true! I think grey is an underrated color and my goodness it looks absolutely divine on you! I just love everything about that cardi and the little pop of teal you added with the belt. You are always spot on Laura! Happy Monday! xx Marisa
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteI was you a year ago. My closet looks so gloomy.. and my mom harass me continuously about how I should wear more colors! Now.. She always kudos my colorful outfit :)

The Other Side of Gray
Ooooooo, love that pop of turquoise!! Looks really good with the dark colours :)
ReplyDeleteyour grey outfit is not "grey" at all i think it looks sassy and stylish especially with the flowy cardi and hat. Wearing a skirt as a dress stretches your dollar too :-) i don't really have a lot of colors too.

ReplyDeleteit c: you look great!
xx
I do love the pop of turquoise in your belt though! Gray, white and black always make for a great outfit! Also, your hair, is so pretty!
ReplyDeletehere you go with another killer tough-chic look. love it! your teal belt adds just the right amount of color. grey isn't so bad, though. i think it takes a lot of unnecessary flack.
