Happy Monday! I hope you had a restful weekend. Mine was ridiculous, but I made the most of it. Today is my Friday, so I'll be able to finally catch up on your bloggity blog blogs which I so have missed very much.
 
Ever since I started working, I haven't had a decent weekend at all. I oh so wish I was expected to fully concentrate my efforts on running a massive, opulent countryside estate (English, of course) so I can say ridiculous things like "What is a weekend?" Because, everyday-- EVERY FREAKING DAY would then feel like a weekend.

  2. I didn't get to do much this weekend it rained for most of the day Saturday and then I had to take the Bf to the airport so I've been pretty bored without him here to drive crazy! haha

  4. This is such a great look, I keep seeing people pulling off the look of putting their belt over their cardigan but I have yet to try it. I love the blue of the dress/skirt. You have such fabulous shiny, healthy looking hair and this is the perfect braid, my braids always end up so messy. I know what you mean about the weekend, my boyfriend works Friday and Saturday so I always feel like our schedule or weekend is different from everyone elses.

  7. LOL, often times my weekends don't really feel like weekends because of a church music group we're part of, it can feel like a second job! This weekend was different though!

  19. Even though I am still in school full-time and am totally swamped with grad work, I made a promise to myself that I will never a lose a weekend to school. Living life is too important. Weekends are for fun! :)

  21. Weekends don't really exist in my house unfortunately. After working all week, the weekend is spent grocery shopping, cleaning and all that adult stuff. Hopefully you got some R&R today :)

  22. Sorry to hear about your non-weekend. I'm lucky enough to have my weekends as weekends (I really shouldn't complain) because there's so many who have weekends as non weekends (like my hubs and you). Glad that you're making the best out of YOUR weekend though by relaxing(?) and catching up on blogs (thanks for stopping by mine- BTW hope you get the soy milk I posted it's soooo good..let me know what you think). On to more important things - Lovely outfit. I always love versatile pieces that can be switched up from skirt to dress and vice versa. And the glasses are to drool over! Hellurrr!

  36. weekends are always crazy for us. It's like everybody is trying to squeeze in every possible thing they cannot do on a weekday on a weekend. So we get birthday parties invitation, dinner gatherings...etc.

  37. Weekend schmeekend. Since I've been working as a waitress 11 hour days and 1 day off a week have become the norm. But in my distant memory I can remember weekends as being fabulous! And also those shoes make me want to dance on a cloud!!
