We should so pool our money and buy a fixer upper estate in England and run it as a BandB!

This is such a great look, I keep seeing people pulling off the look of putting their belt over their cardigan but I have yet to try it. I love the blue of the dress/skirt. You have such fabulous shiny, healthy looking hair and this is the perfect braid, my braids always end up so messy. I know what you mean about the weekend, my boyfriend works Friday and Saturday so I always feel like our schedule or weekend is different from everyone elses.

Girl, I love the way you accessorize. I need to learn how to layer and wear awesome belts.
ReplyDeleteI like the cardigan. I am ready for another weekend, even though I work a standard week.
ReplyDeleteLOL, often times my weekends don't really feel like weekends because of a church music group we're part of, it can feel like a second job! This weekend was different though!
ReplyDeleteI love your gold shoes, they are too much fun!
My weekend was quiet this time around but I did manage to go thrifting :D I LOVE your new frames? They look different from your other ones. Love the belt!
ReplyDeleteLOL, i just posted a picture from DA!! Maggie Smith saying what is a weekend! :-) Love her character! Your shoes look out of this world pretty!! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

I want your belt. Actually, I want the whole outfit, but if you just want to send me the belt I'd be okay with that. ;-)
ReplyDeleteEven though I am still in school full-time and am totally swamped with grad work, I made a promise to myself that I will never a lose a weekend to school. Living life is too important. Weekends are for fun! :)

Cheers to that! I definitely had the same kind of weekend. I adore your glasses. I wish they were something I could look half as good in. I love how you layered your whole look here too darling! Take some time and slow down this week:) xx Marisa
ReplyDeleteWeekends don't really exist in my house unfortunately. After working all week, the weekend is spent grocery shopping, cleaning and all that adult stuff. Hopefully you got some R&R today :)
ReplyDeleteI do love your shoes! Heather
Sorry to hear about your non-weekend. I'm lucky enough to have my weekends as weekends (I really shouldn't complain) because there's so many who have weekends as non weekends (like my hubs and you). Glad that you're making the best out of YOUR weekend though by relaxing(?) and catching up on blogs (thanks for stopping by mine- BTW hope you get the soy milk I posted it's soooo good..let me know what you think). On to more important things - Lovely outfit. I always love versatile pieces that can be switched up from skirt to dress and vice versa. And the glasses are to drool over! Hellurrr!

Weekend schmeekend. Since I've been working as a waitress 11 hour days and 1 day off a week have become the norm. But in my distant memory I can remember weekends as being fabulous! And also those shoes make me want to dance on a cloud!!
ReplyDeleteGees girl, aren't you just gorgeous!! I love your braid. I so wish I could wear my hair like that. I may have to get extensions just so I can have a thick braid once in my life. I hear ya about weekends...this coming one will be my first weekend off in months, and I cannot tell you how excited I am about it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful braids my dear and I love that flowy cardi - such a romantic outfit. I had a stomach virus so was bed rested this weekend myself :(

ReplyDeleteLove,
MLU the blog.
Haha, I love that scene. Her delivery is so perfect. I also like the swivel chair scene. I often do office work on weekends and amuse myself swiveling around with Downton Abbey quotes swimming in my brain. Anyway! Lovely ensemble. Those shoesies of yours are adorable. Double straps!
ReplyDeleteYour cardigan looks great belted like that. I'm really loving your shoes too!
