too much fun

You've probably noticed that I've gone a bit crazy lately with the add-ons in the photos of my recent blog posts. Ever since I discovered Pugly Pixel, I've been playing around with brushes, fonts, textures, and other graphics. Though I hate being hunched over, staring at my laptop, I can't stop it!!! It's just too much fun! I'm still not at the level of actually editing my photos like playing with color/ light balance/ smudging or anything like that. That may never happen since I'm too preoccupied cutifying everything else.
A few of you asked what kind of ice cream cone my husband was holding in this post. He got a giant waffle cone, dipped in chocolate and sprinkled with crushed Butterfinger. The ice cream shop we went to offered quite the variety of dipped waffle cones, and I included some photos of those that I remembered to capture. I dunno how he does it, though. I can barely finish a kid scoop of ice cream, let alone the skimpy sugar cone in comes in. He gobbled down a large scoop AND the whole cone! SUGAR COMA afterwards.
Before this post gets out of hand, I wanted to show off my new pink specs! They're from Coastal, and I LOVE them to death. You can't see them (because I forgot to take close up pics) but there are little hearts on the edges of the cat eyes! If you didn't know yet, your first pair at Coastal.com is free! *I wasn't sponsored these glasses, I just love them a lot!!
Wow how good do all those ice cream cones look?! Since being in the states I've seen that American's really do take ice creams to the next level with their tasty assortment of cones, the Oreo one looks heavenly.
ReplyDeletei love this outfit! the color blocking is perfect! love the specks too! you look super cute

Oh the glasses look SO cute on you! Love the color with your skin tone. I notice because I'm so pale the light pink kinda gets lost when I wear them. Love the hot pink paired with the pretty blue cardigan too!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and then the pop of black and white strips! Those ice cream cones are making me want one!
ReplyDeleteOMG those ice cream cones look soooo sinful and amazing. YUM.

Love the bright colors with the graphic stripes, yo! Perfect combination for something as bright and fun as ice cream.
ReplyDeleteAnd how excellent is Coastal.com? Without them I would have to choose between being blind or broke. Hooray affordable glasses for the masses!
I would be all over that sprinkle cone. Like you tho I can barely finish a cup where as my boyfriend eats ice cream like it's going to run away. I don't know how they do it! I love pugly pixel too! She has so many cool things.
ReplyDeleteI really like your outfit the blue top is really pretty and look at all that color :) I'm going to have to stop putting off getting my eyes checked and get a new script so I can check out this eye glass website.
Specs are super...and I know my man would be jumping on those cones too! Love your stripes and brights :)

ReplyDeleteYou guys are totally like Matt and I. We got ice cream yesterday and while he demolished a waffle cone with two huge scoops of ice cream. I was still working on my bowl (no cone for me!) It was hot and he was getting antsy, so we wound up helping me finish.
ReplyDeleteLove your color combination!

ReplyDeleteYour photos look fabulous! I am going to have to try pugly pixel...the picasa filters while they're awesome probably aren't as grand of a scale as the software you are using. The anniversary photos look fab, I especially love all the lace you wore.
ReplyDeleteive never heard of pixel pugly but I love text on photos haha. the glasses are awesome on you! I've heard so much about Coastal lately but I just feel like whatever I pick my look horrible on me :x
ReplyDeleteI'm a nutter for bright blue sweaters even though I can never find any in my area for cheap. I've been nerding out over bright colors anyways but I always end up putting my daughter in the super brights instead since she owns more of them then myself.
ReplyDeleteYou're so cute!! I'll have to check out pixel pugly. My photos need whatever help they can get. =)
ReplyDeletePerfect outfit, love that explosion of colors ;)
