Here it is, folks, the last of the photos from my anniversary adventure. If you missed them, check all three parts here: 1, 2, 3. In retrospect, actually, I don't think we had much of an "adventure," since we mostly just relaxed and stuffed ourselves silly with pastries and delicious food. On our last day, we had the yummiest breakfast I've had in a long time. I'm not a fan of Cinnabon since they're just too sweet for me, but I did love these mini Cinnabon pancake bites. Oh my gosh, just typing it out made me drool. Perfect tiny bites of sweet.
We spent the rest of the morning at the Farmers' Market and got some delicious cheese and creamy honey. Sharp cheddar + a bit of creamy honey + fresh baguette= delicious snack. For realz.
I hope you're having a beautiful, long weekend! and don't forget to enter my giveaway.
What a gorgeous, relaxing weekend! I really don't think you can beat romance, good food and gorgeous scenery! :-) Really pretty outfit too - love the peachy-nude tone of the lacy shrug against the black!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have Cinnabon in the UK so I make up for it by making cinnamon toast! Lol

love that little cardigan! looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteAhh sounds lovely. Going away and just relaxing....It's been a while since we've gone away just to relax and do nothing. I'll have to put that on my to do list for the summer. I'm not much of a pancake person, but those tiny little pancake bites look so good!

I find the cinnamon rolls to be too sweet and often too OTT with the cinnamon and it amuses me that people eat such a sweet thing for breakfast too! Sometimes its nice to just get away, even if you're not going anything, just to take some time out to sit and enjoy the world!
ReplyDeleteWHAT? Cinnabon pancake bites? Man, I am all for living abroad and then I read about something like that! Brits don't do cinnamon rolls quite right, and they definitely don't do pancakes.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you guys had such a relaxing "adventure" (I think those are the best). And you look beautiful as always, Ms. Laura! That lace shrug is beautiful, and the way you put colors together is tres inspiring!
Relaxing and eating good food are pleasures that make life worth living. Glad you savored the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat food looks so good, you making me hungry! lol I have never tried sharp cheddar+honey+baguette but that sounds so good, we have a farmers market down the street from us every Sunday I'll have to pick up some stuff there and give it a try. I really like your maxi, I've been looking for one that wasn't tube topped.
ReplyDeleteWe'll play "never have I ever" for a minute and I will admit to you that never have I ever had a fritata. It looks delicious, though. And you managed to look amazing all through your getaway. I've always been a maxi-dress opposer, but you're kind of selling it. I actually want one now :X
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that place looks amazing! I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself so much, that's really awesome.

ReplyDeleteLaura, I am in love with this whimsical outfit of yours! The lace shrug is to die for and it looks perfect with this maxi dress! The top knot completes this romantic look. I have thoroughly enjoyed these posts of your vacation. The photos are just wonderful! And my mouth is also watering at the thought of pancake bites that taste like cinnabon. It's been too long since I had a cinnabon! Sigh. I continue to live vicariously through you. :)
