Indecisiveness is my best trait

For a while now, I've been contemplating changing my hair. This is probably the longest I've had my hair black, and I am really itching for a new shade, especially because almost everyone lightens their hair for the summer. If you're a long-time reader, you'll know that I have some sort of identity crisis when it comes to my hair. And though the recent blunt fringe has definitely gotten me to look at my wardrobe/makeup in a whole different light, living with bangs is insanely difficult. I'll save that rant for another post, though.
The point of this post is that up until yesterday, I was resolute on getting my hair colored and cut, then I look at these pictures and now I'm not so sure. UGH, indecision! You'll be seeing a lot of hair pins on my pinterest, that's for sure.
Have a lovely weekend!
I'm a Libra, and horribly indecisive! I decided a couple of years ago to keep it long, since I'm older & can't wear it long forever. Good luck on deciding!

I totally know what Elle means about being a Libra and being indecisive - sometimes I think that's my middle name! I love you with the black hair but looking at your previous images you rock the reddy brown - how about a dark cherry colour? Its still dark but with the red hint?
ReplyDeleteI personally love dramatic hair change ups (hence the chopping mine all off and going red)...and I think you'll look super cute no matter what you go with!

P.S. Yeah, living with bangs is the pits as far as I'm concerned
You look adorable, and I think bangs work really well on you. I can totally understand how they are difficult, though. I have my side swept bangs, and I HATE them sometimes (that's when they get pinned up - you could try that!).
ReplyDeleteI love the bangs but I remember the mess of keeping them up. I'd love to see what colors you're interested in. I just went to my stylist and said, "Lets start growing it out." And then, he trimmed it up really tight so it would grow evenly. I hated it for a day and then loved it the next day and thought, "This is so cute short, maybe I don't want to grow it long again." Aaah! I'm sure whatever you pick will look great.
ReplyDeleteLOL, I read the title of this post and I was like, yep, you're just like me! I can be super indecisive about things too. For a long time I was changing my hair style just about every month, but now I've found something that works well for me.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, LOVE your lace cardi! It is so cute!
Funny, I was just thinking how awesome your hair looks! Loving the outfit, those sandals are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely long, but I know what you mean.. I often want to grow my hair but then get bored and get it cut!! Those shoes are gorgeous, I love the crossover straps on them :)

I love your hair...but think that you are the kind of pretty and confident girl who could wear it any way and look wonderful! Not to mention you pick amazing shoes...those ankle straps and criss crosses make these amazing!

I love your hair! But, hey, my thoughts on hair is it is JUST HAIR and will grow back no matter how you mess with it. It's fun to experiment with it :) xx
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone else, you have BEAUTIFUL hair and I just adore your blunt bangs. This dress is beautiful and I can't believe those are Target shoes, I saw nothing of the sort there last weekend! To Target I go...after work :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shoes! I know how annoying it can be to have bags. But I've learned to deal with it. And I taught myself to cut them myself because going to the hair dresser every 3 weeks for a trim is very annoying. Anyways, I really like you hair like this.. but I'm sure that if you change it you'll still look pretty :)
ReplyDeleteI can be the same way when it comes to my hair. I used to dye and fry ;) it all the time until the day it turned orange... and I mean like dirty burnt orange it was the worst. Word from the wise get it done professionally if your going to do color! An ombre look would be cute on you and that way you can have the best of both :)
ReplyDeleteLove the look!
ReplyDeleteI like your hair colour right now-it's so shiny and healthy looking.
I am Loving the flora and lace together!
ReplyDeleteI left a comment on your last post too. OMG!!! That cake is Fabulous!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable outfit, but I definitely fell in love with the shoes. Those are darling! A strappy black wedge is almost vital!

I...feel...your...pain. Sadly I've tried to rid myself of black hair and the it is dreadful for me. Plus I work in a legal office so having "office appropriate" hair is kinda important so any "in between" phase of color isn't so great. The bangs are a PAIN. I've had blunt bangs for almost 5 years...they are jerks :) But alas...I still have them. Your hair looks GORGEOUS in these photos though...I completely understand the itch though. PS - love the wedges!
ReplyDeleteAw that dress looks so pretty on you! I love the lace cardigan paired with it too. I'd love to own a cardigan like that. Also, I really like your hair! I think the blunt bangs look great on you.
ReplyDeleteYou hair looks really really good here, not gonna lie. I like this floral/lace mashup, and I really regret not getting those Target wedges last year.. ahh!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could ombre your hair? That way if you get sick of the color on the ends it'll be easier to cut out.
Look at you, what a hottie! I adore this dress and you have some of the most beautiful hair, I have total hair envy. I tend to think about changing my hair a lot but I rarely do it.

You look great, it suits you well! I think change is good, even if a bit indecisive... lol I love that lace cardigan! xo
ReplyDeleteLaura, I am loving your hair this way! I think you look lovely in this post. The platform sandals are to die for! And that lace cardi is just perfect. Perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteOh my god ! These shoes are amazing !!!

I really like black hair on you! I think it's also a good length for you.. you look great in curls and in an odango bun!
ReplyDeleteI love your wedges btw - shoe envy there! I have to wait 10 more days before I can shop to death haha
Lovely print on that dress. I find florals on a black background instantly look edgier and more glamorous.
ReplyDeleteAh, I know what you mean. I want to make a change to my hair, but I can't really decide on anything that I really want to do. Bangs are getting annoying, I just need to grow them out, and also my hair is at a weird length! I hope you figure something out to do! I'm sure it will be wonderful if you change your hair.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I adore your dress, and those shoes! So wonderful Laura.
Ooo, I'm excited to find out what you decide to do with your hair. Also, love your floral dress and strappy wedges!
ReplyDeletethe hair, the shoes, the dress...all gorgeous! I go backand forth on my hairstyles, too. When I used to work at a soon years ago, my hairstyle would change often....it was addicting. I think change is good!
ReplyDeleteOoo what a pretty floral dress, Laura! And I totally thought your shoes were Dolce Vita (always nice, but expensivo), but Target?! How I miss thee!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you do to your hairs. I think you should get on youtube and be the next hair/nail/make-up guru -- I'm for serious. You always look fantabulous and you make me want to try different things with my own frizzy strands!
xoxo,
Lar
p.s. That cake below: amazing!
I hear you on hair indecision and wanting change! I think you'd look good with a sharp bob of some sort. Also love the dress & wedges, great finds :)
