I got a kick out of Tracy's comment in a recent post where I was wearing pants. If you recall, I've confessed my immense dislike for pants even though you'll find me always wearing trousers of some sort whenever I'm at work. Maybe I'm equating work with pants, and that's not helping at all. Anywho, here's proof that I do have thighs, and that I do wear things that separate my legs.
In truth, I only wore these shorts because it was still too hot to wear anything longer, and I really wanted to show off this thrifted floral jacket. It's actually really really really huge on me, but I pinned it in the back for these photos, and I'm planning on altering it when I get a spare moment.
Yesterday's spare moment was spent taking photos and editing them for the shop. I'm so excited to be selling scarves again! You'll see some familiar designs and patterns, and I'm working on a bunch of new ones to be listed next month. Want a preview? Check it out, all Brady-bunch style and such. I am super proud that I got this collage done all by myself: from set up to photography to editing! I'm getting better, right?
The title of your post had me cracking up! I am not a big fan of shorts but sometimes you gotta wear them cause it's too darn hot. Your blazer is really pretty :)

I seriously love all your store shots - they're so damn cute! And I'm dying a little over that blazer, even if it is on the large size. It's such a unique piece. I bizarrely equate skirts with work wear which probably explains why I don't wear them as much...

I had a HUGE hatred for the shorts until moving to the US. I actually can't remember the last time I wore them before this summer. But yeah, apparently gets too warm to constantly be wearing jeans here in the summer!

Your collage is SO cute. I like pants, actually, and when I was younger I wore pants almost exclusively. As I've gotten older, though, I've started to love dresses and skirts again. I actually need a few more dresses... :D
ReplyDeleteI like wearing pants it dresses and skirts I go threw phases with sometimes I will wear them all the time others not so much. You are getting good at the photo editing and collage making! Those looks like some pretty cool pieces for fall :)

hahhah love the title of the post! i think i have those shorts...and shorts always seem like a good idea. until youre wearing them and they ride up [or fall down] all day. the jacket is amazing and i cant wait to see it tailored. also [since this is the longest comment ever] i saw the bradyesque pic on your shop last night and squealed!

Hahaha! I so felt the same way about pants... until I moved to Scotland where sometimes I have to wear two pairs at the same time (long underwear, fist shake) -- dang it! Fun fact: Brits don't just mean "underwear" when they say "pants," they also mean "silly" or "crap" as in "You got soaked in a Scottish downpour? That's pants!"
