I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. Operative word: slowly. I have been having a blast just chilling at home with my husband and kitties. We made a massive Christmas feast, met with some lovely friends, and have been doing nothing but watching movies, playing boardgames, reading, and stuffing ourselves silly with custard pies, Chinese dumplings, and the like.
Today, we finally left the house and went out in search of more books, comics, and zines to read and then treated ourselves to a nice little burger lunch. Now that I'm home, though, I'm back being a plop monster-- as in, doing nothing but plopping like a piece of putty.
You have to allow yourself to be catatonic at least 1 day after a major holiday. I think I slept most of the on and off the day after xmas but its back to the grind now...oh if only assistant could color in the lines..
I know the feeling, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things since I've been back home but it's been like 2 weeks already. Lazy days are just too good to want to go back the normal 9 to 5!
I love the term plop monster. That's exactly what I'm feeling like now that I'm home. Lazy days are my favorite ever. I really like the fun collar you paired with the pink blouse. I'm completely in love with your shoes too!
Your post title cracked me up! I knew exactly what you meant. Hopefully this weekend I can be a plop monster too, because work was busy this week. I love your lace collar on your top. Happy New Year! Heather
I've decided I will not even think about going back to normal until after New Years or maybe my brother's birthday. Once those things are over I want to not think about doing anything out of the ordinary for a while.
Resting at home and stuffing oneself with yummy treats sounds like heaven to me... hehe. You look great in this outfit Laura! I really love how you styled your hair.
