shop of worldly delights donut necklace
I find that dressing up with a lot of color makes for a brighter day, so lately, I've been dabbling in bolds and brights. My proudest achievement of late has been making over a pair of thrifted white flatforms that I first thought looked like orthopedic shoes. A little bit of paint and a few hours later, they were transformed into a daring pair of kicks, and I was off to the boulangerie to purchase pastries and a crusty baguette.
If you fancy a sweet donut necklace for yourself, I have a few for sale in the shop. Make sure you favorite all the items you like because on Monday, January 14, I will be having a special 24 hour sale where the coupon code HAPPYBIRTHDAY will get you 50% off your whole order. You read right-- 50% off. After all, it's my birthday, and I wanna celebrate with a bang!
For more info, clickity here! I can't take reservations, so make sure to check often and shop early. I'll be adding more items throughout the weekend!
Seattle's been gray too, and I also started wearing brights. It's a winter thing. You look lovely.

Happy Happy Birthday!! Absolutely love your shoes. You should send me a photo and join my e-party for my birthday later this month (17th!) Remind me in the email that it was your birthday and I'll post it with your photo.

ReplyDeleteI want a narwhal keychain...
your shoes!! and they are DIY?? awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI love all the bright colors, I need to add more bright colors to my life. You DIYed those shoes? They are seriously adorable! Many years ago I bought these really hideous shoes that reminded me of Ducky's shoes in 'Pretty in Pink' and yeah, I just wanted to share that tale lol but at least I didn't pay for them (I'm still wondering why I made such a purchase). I love your jacket and donut necklace as well.

Happy almost birthday, Laura!!!! Can I just say those shoes are the best shoe DIY I've seen on the intertubes -- and that's saying a lot with those modge-podge glitter kicks floating around out there. Too, too awesome with all your pops of color, donut necklace and pastry buying. What a wonderful mural too -- I think that should be a constant Blog of Worldly Delights outfit background.

Happy Early Birthday! I love the donut necklace. Noms!
ReplyDeleteBecause of the cold days, I've been wearing a ton of greys and blacks. Didn't realize how seeing a bright outfit would make me so happy.
ReplyDeleteYour donut necklace is so cute!
ReplyDeletehey! you changed the blog, love your hair
ReplyDeleteXo Megan, www.TfDiaries.com
dude, that necklace. I love it and I would be awful about it, I'd keep trying to eat it. (Its a donuts necklace! That really has to be the best thing ever. Now I'm on the hunt for one!) I just completely love how the green in your hair is growing out, it has such a whimsical look but it's not as in-your-face as bright pink hair would be, its like cool mermaid maid hair.
ReplyDeletethose shoes are just too cute! i always love the colors you wear. they're so cheerful and uplifting. you know how to have fun.
