I was cleaning out the shoes in my closet when I saw this pair of black creepers that I saved up my moneys for waaaaay back during my early undergrad years. Those days, these pups and I were inseparable, and I would brave the slippery, sloping hill from my dorm room to my classes with nothing between the ice and my socked feet but 3 inches of tracktionless rubber. I must have had a death wish or something.
These days, these creepers are pretty much time-outing 24/7 in the back of my closet, while I decide whether or not I can part with the memory of pairing them with petticoats or rainbow tights. Perhaps one day.
I would so kill myself in those shoes - so I've not nothing but respect for you! And those glasses are so cute.

I really like the pink/green color combination! It's so fun and springy :) And the crochet collar is so cute! I didn't even know such things existed!
ReplyDeleteHa! I love that you used to trek around in those and risk it all on the ice and snow! Sounds like something I would have done in my younger years too! They are really cute shoes though. I love your striped sweater and pink tights too!
ReplyDeleteI actually wore mine to a professional office for a year while I learned what was and wasn't okay to wear to work. My husband called them my kicking shoes because they looked like something a football player he used to watch wore to punt. Memories!
ReplyDeleteLove the look! I don't think I could wear creepers-I'd feel like Frankenstien since I'm 5"10" haha!
ReplyDeleteCute shoes, and I love your glasses, too!
ReplyDeletehahaha laura! they are too cute doll. I love the buckle and scalloping. they look great paired with those hot pink tights. you can still rock them.

That is such a cute outfit. I love stripes and have acquired a lot of striped tops and such lately. I also love your glasses.

Hahha, I think I have a pretty good idea of which hill you're talking about there! (It's a evil beast, I fell down that stupid thing way too many times.) I love how you found these creepers, I've always wanted to try a pair but I've never been brave enough to give them a ago. They fit your personality and style so well, you just flat out rock them. (And I love how they offset the sweet collar and your hair bow, that is just the best outfit mash-up ever.)
ReplyDeleteah, just found your blog. you have the neatest style! i adore these shoes you are wearing here and all of the color in this outfit!

You brave soul! And here I thought I was crazy walking around in the slippery know in my well-loved and tread-worn moccasins. Just the mere thought of 3 inches of tractionless rubber is making me feel woozy :P
ReplyDeleteI really like the collar over this sweater. Pretty pretty!
So cute, Laura! Love the pairing of the pink tights with them too!
ReplyDeleteAnd I think I've mentioned this before, but I love, love, love those glasses on you. Makes me want to get a third pair which I think might be a step too far having just gotten those Warby Parkers.
p.s. What lippie are you wearing? Also looks gorgeous on you, por supuesto!
