As I type this post, I'm waiting for the bleach to banish my dark roots. And it's days like this when I wish I was born blonde. Or with light-colored hair. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying it would so much easier for me to color my hair if I didn't have to bleach, tone, probably re-bleach, re-tone, and then apply color on my hair.
I'm really itching for a new color, and I've been drawn to pastels. I'd like to have light pink hair again, but I really want to try that icy blue (murder to my hair!) or that beautiful ombre purple. So many choices!
The ombre purple is so pretty! I always wish I had lighter hair to dye it pretty colors like this when I was younger. Now I need it darker just to cover the gray hair, ha ha! Heather
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go red, but even highlights make my hair dry, so I stick with darker colors.
ReplyDeleteThat first one has me wanting to have fun colored hair again. I don't think my work would go for it any more, though. As it is I'm already being "grandfathered in" with my nose ring and visible tattoos as they generally are frowning on such things for new hires.

OMG the ombre purple! Or even just purple. I'm sure it will be lovely no matter what you choose. I look forward to seeing the results! Dang, I miss having bright pink hair.
ReplyDeleteUgh...I wish I haven't dyed my hair black for 5 years...now to change it is nearly impossible so I feel you there. I would kill for rich red hair but my god it's just too hard on my hair and ME! Booo for dark irreversible hair color!

ReplyDeleteThese examples are all so pretty! I tried adding some pink dye to my hair over the holidays, but it just made a mess and I ended up washing it out. Maybe I'll try again sometime soon.

I really have to agree. I love these colors. Once I lose all the color in my hair to the battle against the grey, I think the icy blue will be my default color. ;) I don't care how old I am. :D

I've also always wanted to go white blonde/platinum.

I love brightly colored hair. Unfortunately I cannot dye my a hair a beautiful blue or green because it would be against my work dress code. My favorite here is the blue at the top.
