Ever since I went green (in the hair, I mean), I've been drawn to pinks. Lots of pinks. Like a sickening amount of it. The softer the shade, the more alluring it seems to be to me. And with all the pink surrounding me, I can't help but revert to my kawaii ways, reminiscent of my high school and early undergrad years.
Back then, I tooled around town with my 3 inch creepers, tutu skirts, and massively curled locks of either auburn or apple red. I was always sporting my Little Twin Star mini suitcase, and everything I owned was in a shade of Hello Kitty. These days, I like to keep my kawaii subdued, thus the addition of the black faux leather jacket, black skirt, and Eye of Agamotto pouch I made to carry my essentials.
That skirt is super cute and looks like it can be quite versatile. I need more skirts and dresses, still! You always have the cutest ones.

ReplyDeleteWhy do we need to be grownups and hide our Kawaii-ness? I wasn't even into that kind of stuff until after high school, so I didn't get a lot of time before it was like ugh be an adult ans go to work time. Love those socks and shoes together, they work really well!
