Three hearts

sweater: thrifted
skirts: Target/ Forever 21
booties: Forever 21
headband: the shop of worldly delights 

Many bare beams stretch up into the steely skies, 
but those that have held too much for too long 
bend in defeat 
and try (instead) to clutch at the unwary passerby 
strolling during the lifeless season. 
Sweet liquid exudes out of the freshly chopped limbs, 
surprising even the busiest of foraging squirrels 
who have lived in their hollows for many moons. 

In my prickly boots I skip, 
wearing some warmth in the form of one.two..three...hearts.

Today marks the first day on another leg of my adventure. I apologize if I'm being vague, but I promise to share everything when it's all certain and fixed. Happy Monday!
