We all have skulls

DSC04498
In a little over a week, I'll be headed to visit my family in Alaska. I was rather looking forward to the snow and the cold, especially at this time of year when everything is usually frigid and white, but apparently, there's no snow in sight up there at the mo, and none to be expected in the forecast. Instead, all that precipitation has found its way to greet me at my Illinois doorstep. I'm not going to lie and say I'm glad it did, because, combined with the wind chill, this chilly weather is brutal on my skin and mood.

I still haven't thought about what I'll be wearing during my stay up north, and I also haven't gotten a suitcase yet. I'm considering wearing these boots, though, while traveling since they come off easily which is handy in airports.

I'm probably going to end up bringing this skull and crosses tank, even though it's hardly appropriate, weather-wise, and I've worn it bazillions of times already (here and here, for instance) But it's just so insanely comfortable and easy to pair. I mean, skulls go with everything, right? We all have skulls.

  8. See you're smart about airport shoes. Every time I go, I am dumb and wear flip flops (I only seem to travel by plane in summer) Seems like a good idea, easy to get off and all. Then you realize you have to stand on the nasty airport floor in bare feet :( I do it every.stupid.time, though.

  9. Hello Laura !
This look rocks so much ! I love it !
I answer your question : The sleeves with kawaii characters are child tights from h&m that I cut to use them as sleeves ! I often do that because I hate short sleeves !

  21. I love how bright and colorful your outfits always are. I haven't worn anything with skulls since college...maybe I should again b/c you make them look adorable :-) That's exciting that you will be venturing to Alaska in a week. I've always been intrigued to go there.

  22. At least you picked a good time to come back up, it's been crazy warm. (and it wont stop snowing here in fairbanks, I'll have to wish some of it down towards anchorage for you.)
I love skull prints so much, they're always smiling! (When was the last time you saw an unhappy skull? Although, I guess just being a skull isn't that much fun.) I really like the top with all of the red, it just adds to the delightfulness of the skulls! :)

  24. Ok, THIS is your skin suffering from the cold?? If I didn't like you so much I'd have to hate you just out of sheer jealousy of how glorious your skin is. You look really cute and the sign of a great piece of clothing is one that is flexible and versatile. Your trip to Alaska should be so fun and a great change weather wise since you'll...weirdly, be leaving the snow behind. ;)
