Hey, Chambray

Hey Chambray,

I know I never really gave you a chance before and said lots of mean things about you. You looked good on a lot of people, but on me, I always thought you looked like the sad half of a Canadian Tux. I was pretty unfair, and I'm eating my words now. (Just in case you're wondering, they're not delicious) Anyway, I'm glad you came in the polka dot variety when I was perusing JC Penney. And I'm happy you draped pretty well over my frame. You're so comfy, and I cannot wait to wear you out during the summer! I think you'll get along pretty well with my dresses and skirts as much as you do these pair of jeans.

Hugs,
Laura

  3. Love that this shirt has polka dots - it is definitely more interesting than your average chambray shirt!

  4. I have a chambray tunic thing that I like to wear over tights :D But I can't figure out a regular chambray shirt...not fashionable enough! I like yours, with the polka dots!

  12. I have tossed every chambray shirt I've ever owned. None of them seemed to drape well over the "girls" if ya know what I mean. :D You've gotten super lucky and found one that truly does its job well. Really impressive. I know it's going to sound weird but I really like the necklace I can see popping out. I don't suppose you have the info on it still?

  15. Haha, I love it. This shirt is super cute, too. I have never been able to do button-downs (there was a period of time I pretended, but it wasn't actually good) I have a chambray dress, though, so I guess my chambray hole in my life is filled.

  16. Ya know, I had to go a size up on this shirt, which was good for me since it fit over my "girls" and was a bit longer too, so I can wear it tied. To make it look less boxy when I'm not tying it, I just pair it with skinnies or a bodycon. Oh and the necklace was a cheapo find from forever 21. I have been wanting to get a "better" one, but this hasn't given out on me yet, so I'll stick with it till then! <3

  18. Ugh. You know me and button downs! But this one is a size larger than I usually get so I can wear em without button woes!

  19. I totally know what you mean about the chambray thing. I wear it, but I don't rock it (I always feel a bit manly in my chambray). You look perfection itself in this polka dot version. Oh. And I want your booties.
